Monsters Due On Maple Street

The meaning of the closing paragraph is the following one. The aliens were telling that the people were picking the most dangerous enemy they can find and its themselves. That means that the people are killing themselves. Also they are saying that the only thing the aliens need to do is sit and watch. The aliens just caused a harm and the people just start saving there skin and blaming everybody, so they will get to a point that they will kill themselves. The message is that the people are finding the worst enemy and its themselves. That means that don’t blame people to save your skin.


I think the message was very significant in the play. First because all people were just saving there skin and blaming people who were innocent. They were killing themselves. Which instead they could solve there problem without blaming nobody and solving it in a pacific way. This problem usually occurs daily, for example on Mariana’s space they wrote a very bad message. It says lots of bad things about her. A girl (that I dint want to say name) started blaming me and telling everybody it was me. She did it for the purpose that everybody thought it was me and nobody think it was her s that means she wanted to save her skin by blaming an innocent person.

To make the story more believers the scientist can invent that they are seeing a black dot coming closer, and closer until they saw a spacecraft. So they can say the lights went off and people were getting crazy and all those stuffs. I will make the change that instead doing t in a city doing it in the whole world. Also because now is this time there is so much technology it will be better if they cut the lights of Electrolux. And that will emphasize when the author said that they are finding the worst enemy and it’s themselves.

♥...Trip to Bogota..♥

Finally we heard the voice of girl: “welcome to Bogotá”. I was really exited because I was going to see Melissa. It was really cold and it was raining a little bit. Melissa was waiting for us. We took our backpack and we were going outside. When we saw each other we both were much exited we hugged and then my mom hugged her too. Melissa was taking while we waited inside because it was raining and she had an umbrella. He took it and we went inside. When we went to the apartment and I saw it was really nice. I slept for 10 minutes while Melissa was preparing us some food. After I woke up and we ate the food we were deciding what to do. As always my Melissa said, “I want to go to Atlantis.”carolina said, “no! What a boring thing I want to go to Unicentro, And mom last time we came we dint have time to go there and we went like three times to Atlantis”. Marta said, “okay Carolina this problem is between you and you sister and don’t have anything to do with this”. Melissa said, hey Caro lets go first to Atlantis is that I need to buy a new outfit. I felt really angry inside, she always had to buy a new outfit and the worst of all is that I new she will convince my mom and make her to buy her outfit. Carolina said, oh my god! Look your closet you have spectacular clothe; even you have more than my mom and me together. Melissa said, but I already put all my cloth is bored to put the same thing always.Carolina got angrier because Melissa was one of those girls who dint care of others she only wants that everybody is at her service. Then Carolina said, “clothe is for many use not for one use. I will like you to be a poor girl, I will pay I million dollars to know what you will do in does circumstances.” Melissa never listen Carolina because she was the youngest and for addition she never listen.

After all, my mom got kind of bord and said, “ okay carolina lets go first to the atlantis and tomorow we go to unicentro”. At first I dint wanted but then I think about it, that in atlantis there are tons of shopping stores were I can buy tons of cloth. And by the way i dint wanted to fight with my sister so.

In conclusion we first went to Atlantis and we had a very good time. We want to the park there and I played dance revolution. Then we ate some food in MacDonald’s, and then we went home. At the next day we woke up and went immediately to Unicentro. I bought a new outfit and my mom gave an ice cream. It was very cool!

My mom woke me up at 6:30 in the morning because we needed to be on the airport at 7:30 to catch our flight to Bogotá. I took a wash and I put my cloth, I was really exited because I was going to see my sister Melissa. I was ready at 7:00 am, and I was frustrated because my mom was still putting her make up. Finally she was ready we went down and we took a taxi. We went to the airport and there was no one in the line to ticket. We went and we ticket. After, we went to drink a cappuccino. It was delicious. We were sitting there talking when we heard the voice of the girl that tells to go to the waiting living room. We went there, I and my mom waited 5 minutes, and we got into the air plane. We sitted in first class. Then my mom asked me “do you bring your teddy bear” and in answered: “no mom you were supposed to pack it “Marta: “oh, yes! I forgot, sorry” Carolina: “see mom you told me you packed everything” Marta: sorry, if you want I will buy you a new one “Carolina: “don’t worry mom when we come to Cartagena I will be with him. I conclusion we went to altlantis first and we had a good time ... the next day we went to unicentro and we had a very good day. It was very cool!

My lost cellphone...

It was a Monday and Margarita called Natalia and me to go skating.we all went to her house and we prepared. Then Margui called her mom to ask permission if she can go skating and she told yes.

We went and we were skating. There we maked races of skating and I allways won. There we mwt Juliana and Sara. They were walking because they were going to the house of Maria Paulina.we sat in one of those benches and talked a little bit. Then we were skating and we were very thirsty so we stopped and drinked some water

It was like 6:00 pm, so we went to a market that was beside my house. There we ate an ice cream and natalia and also bought a pony malta. We sta there and we started talking about soccer teams and everyone liked barsa. While we were going to the house of Margui I touched my pocket and my cellphone wasent there, i was really worried. I went urgently to the market and it wasent there. I skate through all the “paseo pateonal” and it wasent there. Then Margui and Nati went to there houses, so I did. I told my father and he told that okay what was he was going to do but, he would not buy a expensive cellphone anymore. (Thats what he told in that moment!)

...Wonderfull holiday...

This week mrhide assigned us a post about commas. We will need to describe the nightmare holiday. This theme is related to the thing we are doing in English I think this will help us a lot because we will need to write about commas in series that are : modifiers, phrases, and independent clauses. Others are prepositional phrases, participial phrases and interjection. I think this assigment will help us alot because we will get acustome to use commas more frecuently.


Last year I had a wonderful holiday. It was a Monday, March, 11. Catalina, Isabella, and Isabel invite me to a zoo were we will see tons of different type of animals. (1)They had different way of being so some were savage, sweet, and scary. In the zoo we ate(2)hot dog, potato chips and ice cream.(3)Then we went through the zoo by walking, running, and some bicicles you rented there if you dint wanted to walk.(4)There I walked, I played, and I run.

Then while we were going outside the zoo we meet a japonesse that told us a little bit about his country. Then we heard the horn of the car and we went out.(7)we entered the car and She told us "did you saw all the animals of the zoo" and we told her "yes, we did". Then Catalina invited us to her house to sleep and so we did.

My favorite book!!!

My favorite book is called IQ 83. it is by the best selling author of the Swarm, Arthur Herzog.IQ 83 is about a bunch of doctors who mess around with DNA, and they unwittingly cause an accident that makes everyone in the world lose a bunch of IQ points and start acting dumb. Seriously! Even the president of the United States. He ends up drooling like an idiot! And its up to Dr.James Healy to save the country from being populated by a bunch of overweight moronswho do nothing but watch Jerry Springer and eat Ho Hos all day.

This book has never got the attention it should receive. I personally think this is a very good book. It is very funny and entertainment.i think this book should be made into a movie because it would be better. And since there re some people that dont like to read we will have it in movie for everyone to see it. Read it you will not regret!

{{{{{Problems and solutions}}}}}}}

Usually when I have a problem I deal with it really calmly. The first thing I try to do is to solve it. In cases really urgent, I try to solve them really fast and with accurate solutions, but in problems more severe, I just do it calmly. First I try to form plan, next I try to call people to help me and to do it all as a team. Usually I am does kind of person who has very good strategies. I usually when I get really mad I ignore people to avoid saying things that I will regret later, or it might offend them. Or sometimes I just yell but without insulting anybody


One day, I was in a basketball game. The coach Fernando was planning the strategies with the captain. Then he came toward us to tell us the instructions we all listen at it, and the game started. He put Margarita, Lupita, Christina, Suad, and me. We were playing and the other team scored a point. I was really frustrated. Also I felt very impotent because I couldn’t do anything but scored a point. We started the second time. Christina took the ball passed it to me and I went running alone with the ball. All of my team players started shouting pass the ball, pass the ball! I dint pass it and they took it of my hands. Next they scored another point.

The game was finally ended. My coach and my team players were very disappointed to me. I feel really bad I was almost to cry. I wanted to tell them sorry, but I feel shy and scared. Then everybody was going and I called them and I told them my situation what I felt in that moment. I told them I would not do it again and I apologize. They told me that I dint matter and the next time to work a little harder.
